Stargate Universe Season 1 Trailer

Stargate Universe is the second spin-off show from the highly successful Stargate SG-1 series which itself was the follow-up to the 1994 Stargate movie, however this show is different, quite different!

While the Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis were action-orientated and quite light-hearted at times, Universe seems to have broken with what seemed a fairly winning formula and seems to have been highly influenced by the recent successful character-driven shows such as Lost and Battlestar Galactica – however the big question is whether it will work for the Stargate Universe?

It’s tough to say from what we’ve seen so far as it is fairly dark and gritty as a show, but having seen the first 10 episodes so far, it’s also a fairly slow-moving show, so all of that has mean that a lot of the established Stargate fans aren’t liking it (perhaps made worse since Atlantis was cancelled last year so the production team could focus on this show, maybe there’s still some resentment there over that) and ratings haven’t been great, but it’s still got half of its first season still to go and has already been re-newed for a second season, so hopefully the show will find its feet as I’m sure it does have potential.

That’s right, the Entourage boys are back in town and they’re back at the top after some hard times (relatively) in season 5 after the flop that was Medellin – you can now see the Entourage season 6 trailer for a sneak peak of what we can expect from the new series.

Entourage season 6 picks up after Vinnie has been in Scorsese’s latest successful movie, so everything is looking good for him and the guys, although perhaps it looks a little too good in this trailer? How could things go wrong from this point? Whatever happens I’m sure Entourage season 6 won’t be plain sailing or at all boring!

The Bloody Apprentice – Funny Video Edit

I’ve been a fan of The Apprentice TV show since I first saw the american version with Donald Trump several years ago, however it was only when the British version of The Apprentice (made by the BBC) started with Sir Alan Sugar setting a bunch of budding British entrepreneurs weekly tasks that it really became popular here in the UK – plus the full hour length show (due to no adverts) means that you really do get to see a bit more of what’s happening with the tasks and more boardroom discussions/arguments afterwards.

Which brings us onto the video below, someone known as ‘Cassetteboy‘ has put together a great 6 minute long video edit of clips from the various series to produce one of the funniest videos I’ve seen in a while, whether you like The Apprentice show or not, this is definitely worth a watch!
